एवमुक्तश्न भीष्मेण धार्तराष्ट्रो जनेश्वर: । प्रहस्य सहसा राजन्‌ विप्रतस्थे ससौबल:,राजन! भीष्मके ऐसा कहनेपर राजा दुर्योधन हँस पड़ा और शकुनिके साथ सहसा वहाँसे अन्यत्र चला गया

evam uktaś ca bhīṣmeṇa dhārtarāṣṭro janeśvaraḥ | prahasya sahasā rājan vipratasthe sa-saubalaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai Raja! Setelah Bhīṣma berkata demikian, putra Dhṛtarāṣṭra—penguasa di antara manusia—tertawa, lalu seketika pergi dari tempat itu bersama Śakuni.”
