Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father
एवं दश दिश: सर्वास्तिर्यगूर्ध्य च भारत । नादयामासुरसुरास्ते चापि निहता मया,भारत! इस तरह वे असुर इधर-उधर ऊपर-नीचे दसों दिशाओंमें कोलाहल करते और मेरे हाथसे मारे जाते थे
evaṁ daśa diśaḥ sarvāstiryagūrdhya ca bhārata | nādayāmāsur asurās te cāpi nihatā mayā, bhārata ||
Demikianlah, wahai Bhārata, para Asura menimbulkan kegaduhan ke segala sepuluh penjuru—ke samping dan ke atas—namun mereka pun kutumbangkan.
