Adhyāya 208: Aṅgirasī-kanyāḥ
Enumeration of Aṅgiras’ daughters and attribute-names
One cannot escape moral accountability by self-deception. Even if a person denies their wrongdoing, divine witnesses and the inner Self/Lord perceive the act; therefore one should cultivate honesty, remorse, and righteous conduct.
In the Vyādha’s instruction (a didactic discourse in Vana Parva), he emphasizes ethical vigilance: wrongdoing is not hidden, because the gods and the indwelling inner Person observe one’s actions and intentions.
