Educational Q&A

The verse highlights reverence and right conduct in meeting a respected person: even amid exile and struggle, one approaches elders or worthy figures with honor, and the unity of brothers becomes a support for dharmic action.

Arjuna narrates that he saw the addressed person on the summit of a mountain connected to Gandhamādana, with his brothers around him—setting the scene for an important encounter during the forest-exile journey.
