Saubha-ākhyāna: Śālva’s Approach and the Fortification of Dvārakā (सौभाख्यानम्—द्वारकायाः सुरक्षाविधानम्)
The verse underscores kṣatriya resolve and the ethical seriousness of warfare: once conflict is joined, confronting the opposing command structure (minister and general) reflects decisive responsibility and strategic clarity, rather than indiscriminate violence.
Vāyudeva narrates that Sāmba takes up his bow and directly fights Śālva’s minister and the army-commander Kṣemavṛddhi on the battlefield.
