Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)
तथा पुरुषशार्दूल मानुषाश्न परंतप | सहस्रशो हायुतशो वर्धन्ते सलिलं यथा,शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरश्रेष्ठ जैसे बरसातमें पानी बढ़ता है, उसी प्रकार मनुष्य भी हजार एवं दस हजार गुनी संख्यामें बढ़ने लगे
tathā puruṣaśārdūla mānuṣāś ca parantapa | sahasraśo hy āyutaśo vardhante salilaṃ yathā ||
Lomaśa berkata: “Demikian pula, wahai harimau di antara manusia, penakluk musuh: sebagaimana air meluap pada musim hujan, demikianlah manusia pun mulai bertambah—beribu-ribu dan berpuluh ribu.”
