Sātyaki’s Call for Intervention and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Vow-Bound Restraint

Educational Q&A

The verse asserts unwavering confidence in Kṛṣṇa’s divine and martial supremacy: across all realms, even including the gods, nothing is truly insurmountable for him. Ethically, it reinforces reliance on righteous protection and the assurance that dharma, when upheld by the divine, cannot be overpowered.

Baladeva speaks in praise of Kṛṣṇa, emphasizing his readiness for combat and unmatched prowess. The statement functions as reassurance and encouragement within the epic’s tensions, framing Kṛṣṇa as the decisive protector whose power exceeds that of even the celestial order.
