अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
का शक्तिर्मम देवेश प्रजा: सत्रष्ठु नमो<स्तु ते । अप्रज्ञावानहं देव विधत्स्व यदनन्तरम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kā śaktir mama deveśa prajāḥ sraṣṭuṁ namo 'stu te | aprajñāvān ahaṁ deva vidhatsva yad anantaram ||
Waiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai Dewa para dewa, kekuatan apa yang kumiliki untuk menciptakan makhluk? Sembah sujud bagimu. Wahai Tuhan, aku sama sekali tidak memiliki kebijaksanaan yang diperlukan untuk penciptaan; mengetahui hal ini, lakukanlah kini apa pun yang Engkau pandang patut sebagai langkah berikutnya.”
