नराश्वनागानमितान् निजषघ्नतुः परस्परं चापि महारथौ नृप । नरेश्वर! वे महाधनुर्धर और महारथी वीर महान् अस्त्रोंका प्रयोग करते हुए अपने भयानक बाणोंद्वारा असंख्य मनुष्यों
sañjaya uvāca | narāśvanāgān amitān nijaśaghnatuḥ parasparaṃ cāpi mahārathau nṛpa |
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai Raja, kedua mahāratha itu—pemanah agung—melepaskan senjata-senjata dahsyat; dengan anak panah yang mengerikan mereka membantai tak terhitung manusia, kuda, dan gajah, dan dalam amuk pertempuran mereka pun saling menghantam berulang kali.
