Shloka 173

नान्य: पाज्चाल्यपुत्रेभ्यो विद्यते भुवि पापकृत्‌ *वास्तवमें भीष्मका वध करनेवाला भी तेरा महान्‌ पापाचारी भाई ही है। इस पृथ्वीपर पांचालराजके पुत्रोंके सिवा दूसरा कोई ऐसा पाप करनेवाला नहीं है

nānyaḥ pāñcālyaputrebhyo vidyate bhuvi pāpakṛt

Sañjaya berkata—di bumi ini tiada pendosa lain, tiada pelaku dosa sekeji itu, selain putra-putra Pāñcālī. Sesungguhnya pembunuh Bhīṣma pun adalah saudaramu sendiri yang besar dosanya; di dunia ini, selain putra-putra raja Pāñcāla, tak ada yang melakukan dosa demikian.
