तिष्ठतो युगपालीषु शोणानप्यधितिष्ठत: । नापश्यदन्तरं द्रोणस्तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्
tiṣṭhato yugapālīṣu śoṇān apy adhitiṣṭhataḥ | nāpaśyad antaraṃ droṇas tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||
Walau mereka berdiri teguh pada palang kuk dan di sekelilingnya gelombang pembantaian merah darah mengamuk, Droṇa tak melihat celah sedikit pun. Pemandangan itu sungguh terasa menakjubkan.
