गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

ते चापि सदृशं वर्ण जनयन्ति स्वयोनिषु | परस्परस्य दारेषु जनयन्ति विगर्हितान्
te cāpi sadṛśaṃ varṇaṃ janayanti svayoniṣu | parasparasya dāreṣu janayanti vigarhitān |
Mereka yang terlahir dari varṇa campuran pun, bila bersatu dalam golongan mereka sendiri, melahirkan keturunan yang sepadan dengan golongan itu. Namun bila mereka berhubungan dengan perempuan dari kelompok lain—dengan istri-istri satu sama lain—maka keturunan yang lahir dipandang lebih tercela daripada diri mereka sendiri.
