ऊर्जावतीं महापुण्यां मधुमतीं त्रिवर्त्मगाम्‌ । त्रिलोकगोफ्तीं ये गड्डां संश्रितास्‍्ते दिवं गता:

Transliteration

Ūrjāvatīṁ mahāpuṇyāṁ madhumatīṁ trivartmagām | Trilokagoptīṁ ye Gaṅgāṁ saṁśritās te divaṁ gatāḥ ||

Translation

Sang Siddha: Gaṅgā penuh daya rohani, amat berpahala, manis airnya; ia mengalir melalui tiga jalur—bumi, langit, dan alam bawah—seraya melindungi tiga dunia. Mereka yang berlindung pada Gaṅgā mencapai surga.
