उत्थाय सलिलात् तस्माद् रुदती शोकविह्नलला । परिदेवयती तत्र कौरवानभ्यभाषत
utthāya salilāt tasmād rudatī śokavihvalā | paridevayatī tatra kauravān abhyabhāṣata ||
Bangkit dari air itu, ia—diliputi duka—mulai menangis. Sambil meratap di sana, ia berbicara kepada para Kaurava, seakan hendak menyatakan kebenaran peristiwa itu serta kemuliaan Bhīṣma menurut laku dharma.
