विश्वमूर्तिमहामूर्तिदीप्तमूर्तिरमूर्तिमान्‌ । अनेकमूर्तिरिव्यक्त: शतमूर्ति: शतानन:

Transliteration

viśvamūrtimahāmūrtidīptamūrtiramūrtimān | anekamūrtiravyaktaḥ śatamūrtiḥ śatānanaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma berkata: “Wujud-Nya adalah seluruh semesta—Sang Purusha Kosmis yang agung; berwujud tak terhingga, berwujud cemerlang, namun juga tanpa wujud. Walau Ia mengambil banyak rupa demi kebaikan makhluk, hakikat-Nya tetap melampaui ungkapan sepenuhnya. Ia seakan memiliki seratus wujud dan seratus wajah—tanpa batas dalam perwujudan.”
