ओजस्तेजोद्युतिधर: प्रकाशात्मा प्रतापन: । ऋद्धः स्पष्टाक्षरो मन्त्रश्नन्द्रांशुर्भास्करद्युति:

Transliteration

ojastejodyutidharaḥ prakāśātmā pratāpanaḥ | ṛddhaḥ spaṣṭākṣaro mantraś candrāṁśur bhāskaradyutiḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma berkata: Ia pemangku daya, cahaya, dan kemilau; hakikat diri-Nya adalah terang, dan dengan kuasa-Nya Ia menghanguskan sekaligus menundukkan. Ia Ṛddha, sempurna dalam kemakmuran rohani; suku kata-Nya jelas—Oṁ yang termanifestasi; Ia adalah wujud mantra-mantra Weda; Ia laksana sinar rembulan yang menyejukkan batin yang hangus oleh panas dunia; dan Ia bercahaya seterang matahari.
