Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 193 — Hastināpura Mantra: Duryodhana’s Proposals to Divide the Pāṇḍavas
The verse highlights dharma expressed through proper conduct: a righteous woman is escorted with care, and the household responds with respectful hospitality. Social ethics—honoring lawful status, lineage, and virtue—are shown as stabilizing forces in royal life.
After the marriage events, Kuntī leads Draupadī (Kṛṣṇā) into Drupada’s inner palace. The women there welcome and honor her, recognizing her as the royal bride connected to the Kuru line.
