Sukta 31

यथाग्रे त्वं वनस्पते पुष्ठ्या सह जज्ञिषे। एवा धनस्य मे स्फातिमा दधातु सरस्वती

yáthāgre tváṃ vanaspate púṣṭhyā sahá jajñíṣe | evá dhánasya me sphātím ā́ dadhātu sárasvatī ||

As, in the beginning, thou, O Lord of the Forest, wast born together with thriving—so may Sarasvatī bestow on me the increase of wealth.

Sebagaimana pada mulanya engkau, wahai Penguasa Hutan (Vanaspati), terlahir bersama kemakmuran—demikianlah semoga Sarasvatī menganugerahkan kepadaku pertambahan kekayaan.
