धावतः प्राणिबाधे च विशिष्टे गृहमागते ब्रह्मचर्याय कल्प्यते इति ङ स्वशाखाश्रोत्रिये मृते इति घ , झ , ञ , ट च शशमार्जारशूकरैर् इति ङ खरोष्ट्रयानहस्त्यश्वनौकावृक्षादिरोहणे

dhāvataḥ prāṇibādhe ca viśiṣṭe gṛhamāgate brahmacaryāya kalpyate iti ṅa svaśākhāśrotriye mṛte iti gha , jha , ña , ṭa ca śaśamārjāraśūkarair iti ṅa kharoṣṭrayānahastyaśvanaukāvṛkṣādirohaṇe

Ketika berlari tergesa-gesa, ketika terjadi luka pada makhluk hidup, dan ketika tamu terhormat datang ke rumah—dalam keadaan demikian ditetapkan untuk menjalankan brahmacarya (pengendalian diri). Demikian pula ketika seorang śrotriya dari cabang Weda sendiri wafat; juga terkait kenajisan karena kelinci, kucing, dan babi hutan; serta saat menaiki keledai atau unta, naik kendaraan, menaiki gajah atau kuda, naik perahu, atau memanjat pohon dan sejenisnya.
