तदानिं पूर्वतो देवमिन्द्रपूर्वं तु पूजयेत्॥ लोकपालैः समं पूज्य अग्निं सम्पूजयेत्छुभे॥

Transliteration

tadānīṃ pūrvato devam indrapūrvaṃ tu pūjayet || lokapālaiḥ samaṃ pūjya agniṃ sampūjayec chubhe ||

Translation

फिर पूरब तरफ देवता की पूजा करो, पहले इंद्र की। दुनिया के रक्षक देवताओं के साथ पूजा करो। फिर अग्नि की भी पूजा करो।
