Brahmā–Viṣṇu–Rudra
sahasraśīrṣakaṃ devaṃ manasā tu mumukṣavaḥ | yajante yaṃ sa viśvātmā devo nārāyaṇaḥ svayam || 72.10 ||
Varāha (default attribution within Varāha–Pṛthivī dialogue framework)
It reflects a Purāṇic synthesis of Vedic imagery (the “thousand-headed” cosmic person motif) with later Vaiṣṇava identification of the cosmic principle as Nārāyaṇa, illustrating continuity and reinterpretation in Sanskrit religious literature.
No specific geographic location is named in this verse; its focus is theological and contemplative rather than topographical.
The verse emphasizes disciplined inner orientation: seekers aiming at liberation are portrayed as engaging in mental worship and contemplation of the universal selfhood (viśvātman) identified with Nārāyaṇa.
