Nārada’s Journey to Śvetadvīpa and the Means of Attaining the Lord through the Pañcarātra
alābhe vedaśāstrāṇāṃ pāñcarātroditena ha | mārgeṇa māṃ prapaśyante te māṃ prāpsyanti mānavāḥ || 66.11 ||
Varāha
It reflects a Purāṇic strategy of validating alternative Vaiṣṇava ritual-theological systems (here, Pañcarātra) in contexts where Vedic textual study is framed as inaccessible, illustrating plural textual authority within early medieval Sanskrit religious cultures.
No geographic location is explicitly named in this verse; the focus is on scriptural access and a prescribed religious path (mārga).
The verse presents a pragmatic norm of religious practice: when canonical learning is not attainable, one may follow an authorized alternative discipline (Pañcarātra) oriented toward recognizing and attaining the divine speaker.
