FAQs

It reflects a common Purāṇic narrative convention in which royal authority is shown acknowledging brahminical learning through formal obeisance, illustrating ideals of polity and social ethics in classical Sanskrit literature.

No geographic location is named in this verse fragment; it focuses on a declarative statement and a social gesture (obeisance) rather than sacred geography.

The verse foregrounds respectful conduct and deference in dialogue—specifically, the king’s act of bowing to a brāhmaṇa after making a doctrinal or honorific statement.
