किंत्वाषाढे शुक्लपक्षे या नारी सह भर्तृणा । उपोष्यति मनुष्येषु तस्या गर्भे भवाम्यहम् ॥ ४६.१३ ॥
kiṃ tv āṣāḍhe śuklapakṣe yā nārī saha bhartrā | upoṣyati manuṣyeṣu tasyā garbhe bhavāmy aham || 46.13 ||
लेकिन आषाढ़ महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष में जो औरत अपने पति के साथ व्रत रखेगी। उसके पेट में मैं आ जाऊंगा।
