Pṛthivī (default dialogue framework; speaker not explicit in the fragment)
It reflects a widely attested South Asian etiquette of honoring respected guests or teachers through foot-washing, a motif common in Purāṇic and dharma-oriented literature.
No specific place-name appears in this verse fragment; it functions primarily as a dialogue unit about ritual courtesy rather than a direct geographic reference.
The verse foregrounds respectful conduct and hospitality—expressed as a request for a traditional act of honor—within a teacher–inquirer conversational setting.
