The Manifestation of Māyā as Durgā/Kātyāyanī and the Slaying of Vaitrāsura
सम्पूर्णे पूर्णचन्द्राभे भास्वराङ्गे भवोद्भवे । महाविद्ये महावेद्ये महादैत्यविनाशिनि । महाबुद्ध्युद्भवे देवि वीतशोके किरातिनि ॥ २८.३१ ॥
sampūrṇe pūrṇacandrābhe bhāsvarāṅge bhavodbhave | mahāvidye mahāvedye mahādaityavināśini | mahābuddhyudbhave devi vītaśoke kirātini || 28.31 ||
देवी, तुम पूरी हो, पूरा चाँद जैसी चमक वाली हो। तुम्हारा शरीर चमक रहा है। तुम भव से पैदा हुई हो। तुम बड़ी विद्या हो, बड़ी जानने वाली हो। तुम बड़े दैत्यों को नष्ट करती हो। तुम बड़ी बुद्धि से पैदा हुई हो। तुम शोक से मुक्त हो, किरातिनी हो।
