Eulogy of the Merits (Phalaśruti) of the Dharāṇī-Varāha Dialogue
sarvayajñeṣu yat puṇyaṃ sarvadāneṣu yat phalam || sarvatīrthābhiṣekena yat phalaṃ munibhiḥ smṛtam ||
Varāha
It reflects a common Purāṇic rhetorical strategy: comparing textual devotion with widely recognized public rites (sacrifice, charity, pilgrimage), illuminating religious economies and social practices.
No single location is specified; the phrase 'all tīrthas' generalizes across the pilgrimage landscape rather than naming a particular site.
The verse frames established public virtues—ritual performance, generosity, and pilgrimage—as benchmarks for evaluating the value of disciplined textual engagement.
