Varāha (default, instructor voice)
It is evidence for Purāṇic “sacred landscape” rhetoric, where forests/groves are canonized as heritage zones and ranked among kṣetras.
A Śleṣmātaka-grove (śleṣmātaka-vana) is named; the exact modern identification is uncertain without additional contextual verses and regional tradition.
The verse elevates a grove as a valued sacred precinct, aligning cultural practice with the preservation and veneration of specific natural sites.
