The Glory of Gokarṇa: Description of Nandikeśvara’s Boon and the Assembly of Deities on Mount Muñjavat
puṇyagandhāḥ sukhasparśās tatra vānti ca vāyavaḥ || evamāgatya te sarve devā viṣṇupurogamāḥ
Varāha (default, dialogue framework)
It highlights a Purāṇic aesthetic of auspicious sensory environment (fragrance, gentle wind) and records a common formula of divine hierarchy: deities portrayed as ‘led by Viṣṇu’ in narrative assemblies.
No named location appears; the verse describes the ambient environment of the assembly site.
Implicitly, it frames a well-ordered world as one where leadership, harmony, and a healthy environment co-occur; it is descriptive rather than a direct command.
