तामुपोष्य नरा भद्रे महापापरताश्च ये ॥ पुण्यपापविनिर्मुक्ता गच्छन्ति पदमव्ययम्
tām upoṣya narā bhadre mahāpāparatāś ca ye | puṇyapāpavinirmuktā gacchanti padam avyayam ||
बड़ी बात सुनो। जो लोग बड़े-बड़े पाप में फंसे हैं, वो भी अगर इस व्रत को रखें, तो पाप और पुण्य दोनों से आज़ाद हो जाते हैं। फिर वो उस जगह पहुँचते हैं जो कभी खत्म नहीं होती।
