ye upoṣyanti vidhivan nārāyaṇaparāyaṇāḥ || na teṣām aśubhaṃ kiñcij janmakoṭikṛtaṃ mune
Varāha
It reflects a widespread Purāṇic ethical-soteriological theme: disciplined vrata practice, framed through devotion, is said to neutralize long-term moral impurity.
No location is mentioned; the instruction is universal and practice-oriented.
Rule-governed self-discipline (vidhivat upoṣaṇa) and focused commitment (parāyaṇatā) are presented as transformative ethical practices.
