Description of the Greatness of the Pativratā
Marital Fidelity and Ethical Devotion
nānyaṃ yā manasā paśyenmṛtyudvāraṃ na paśyati || devatārcayantaṃ vā bhujyamānamapi dvija ||
Varāha (default, instructor voice)
It shows the ethical emphasis on internal intention (manas) alongside outward conduct, a recurring feature in later Sanskrit moral discourse.
No geographic location is named.
The instruction stresses mental exclusivity (not turning the mind toward another partner) as integral to the pativratā ideal.
