अथ यमलोकस्थपापिवर्णनम् ॥ नाचिकेत उवाच ॥ कथ्यमानं मया विप्राः शृण्वन्तु तपसि स्थिताः ॥ नमश्च तस्मै देवाय धर्मराजाय धीमते
atha yamalokasthapāpivarṇanam || nāciketa uvāca || kathyamānaṃ mayā viprāḥ śṛṇvantu tapasi sthitāḥ || namaś ca tasmai devāya dharmarājāya dhīmate
अब मैं बताऊंगा कि यमलोक में पापी लोग कैसे रहते हैं। नचिकेता बोल रहे हैं। जो रिशि तपस्या में लगे हैं, वो सब सुन लें। मैं धर्मराज को नमस्ते करता हूँ, वो बहुत समझदार हैं।
