नारद उवाच ॥ श्रुत्वा तु मृतसंस्कारमात्रेयोक्तं यथाविधि ॥ चातुवर्ण्यस्य सर्वस्य त्वया धर्मः प्रतिष्ठितः ॥
nārada uvāca || śrutvā tu mṛtasaṃskāram ātreyoktaṃ yathāvidhi || cāturvarṇyasya sarvasya tvayā dharmaḥ pratiṣṭhitaḥ ||
नारद बोले, मैंने आत्रेय रिशि से सुना कि मरने के बाद क्या करना चाहिए। आपने चारों वर्णों के लिए धरम को सही कर दिया है।
