देवत्वं ब्राह्मणत्वं च प्रेतपिण्डे प्रदीयते॥ मानुषत्वं निवापेषु ज्ञातव्यं सततं बुधैः॥
devatvaṃ brāhmaṇatvaṃ ca pretapiṇḍe pradīyate || mānuṣatvaṃ nivāpeṣu jñātavyaṃ satataṃ budhaiḥ
प्रेत को पिंड देने से वो देवता या ब्राह्मण बन सकता है। निवाप देने से वो इंसान बन सकता है। यह बात समझदार लोग जानते हैं।
