एकाहं मार्गशीर्ष्यां च द्वादश्यां सितवैष्णवम् ॥ गङ्गासागरिकं नाम पुराणेषु च पठ्यते
ekāhaṁ mārgaśīrṣyāṁ ca dvādaśyāṁ sitavaiṣṇavam || gaṅgāsāgarikaṁ nāma purāṇeṣu ca paṭhyate
मार्गशीर्ष महीने की एकादशी और द्वादशी को विष्णु का व्रत रखते हैं। इसका नाम गंगा सागरिका है, और पुराणों में भी यह लिखा है।
