राक्षसत्वं न गच्छेत्तु श्रवणद्वादशीव्रतात् ॥ स्वर्गे च वसते तावद्यावदिन्द्राश्चतुर्दश ॥
rākṣasatvaṁ na gacchet tu śravaṇa-dvādaśī-vratāt | svarge ca vasate tāvad yāvad indrāś caturdaśa ||
श्रवण-द्वादशी का व्रत रखने से इंसान राक्षस नहीं बनता। वो स्वर्ग में रहता है जब तक चौदह इंद्र रहते हैं, इतना लंबा टाइम।
