एवं कर्माणि कुर्वन्स ब्रह्मलोकजिगीषया॥ बहून्यब्दान्यतीतानि ब्राह्मणस्य वने तदा॥
evaṃ karmāṇi kurvans brahmaloka-jigīṣayā || bahūny abdāny atītāni brāhmaṇasya vane tadā
वो ब्राह्मण ब्रह्मा के धाम जाना चाहता था। इसलिए वो रोज़ अपने धरम के काम करता रहा। बहुत साल बीत गए, और वो जंगल में ही रहता रहा।
