युष्माकमपि चाहारं श्रोतुमिच्छामि तत्त्वतः ॥ प्रेता ऊचुः ॥ शृणु चाहारमस्माकं सर्वभूतदयापर
yuṣmākam api cāhāraṃ śrotum icchāmi tattvataḥ || pretā ūcuḥ || śṛṇu cāhāram asmākaṃ sarvabhūtadayāpara
मैं सच-सच तुम लोगों के बारे में सुनना चाहता हूँ कि तुम क्या खाते हो। प्रेतों ने कहा, सुनो हम क्या खाते हैं। तुम तो सब जीवों पे दया रखते हो।
