Varāha
Devotion is expressed through simple offerings and reverence for sacred order; inner retreat follows outer worship
Begin practice with tangible pūjā (flowers, mantra), then cultivate solitude/meditation—while remaining accountable to a teacher’s guidance
Offer flowers and perform pūjā to Keśava; honor sacred architecture and seek permission from a guru/elder (Śuka) before retiring to solitude.
Devapūjā yields puṇya and devotional refinement; acting without maryādā (permission/discipline) undermines tapas and social-āśrama harmony
Explicit Keśava worship can be read as Vaiṣṇava continuum that later includes Kṛṣṇa-Keśava identity, but no Mathurā/Kṛṣṇa-līlā marker is explicit
Varāha Purāṇa: sequences where Varāha teaches dharma to Bhū and praises Viṣṇu worship (general thematic resonance)
It preserves a textual reference to pañcāyatana-style sacred complexes and links devotional practice with temple space, valuable for cultural-heritage studies.
The verse does not name the site; it describes a shrine setting within the chapter’s broader sacred itinerary (context suggests a Gokarṇa-linked tīrtha network).
Respectful worship and disciplined retreat—acting with permission (anumati) and maintaining decorum in sacred spaces.
