King Prajāpāla’s Visit to Sage Mahātapā’s Hermitage and the Doctrinal Praise of Nārāyaṇa
महातपा उवाच । संसारार्णवमज्जमानमनुजैः पोतः स्थिरोऽतिध्रुवः कार्यः पूजनदानहोमविविधैर्यज्ञैः समं ध्यानैः । कीलैः कीलितमोक्षभिः सुरभटैरूर्ध्वं महारज्जुभिः प्राणाद्यैरधुना कुरुष्व नृपते पोतं त्रिलोकेश्वरम् ॥ १७.१९ ॥
mahātapā uvāca | saṃsārārṇavam ajjamānam anujaiḥ potaḥ sthiro ’tidhruvaḥ kāryaḥ pūjanadānahomavividhair yajñaiḥ samaṃ dhyāyanaiḥ | kīlaiḥ kīlitamokṣabhiḥ surabhaṭair ūrdhvaṃ mahārajjubhiḥ prāṇādyair adhunā kuruṣva nṛpate potaṃ trilokeśvaram || 17.19 ||
रिशिजी बोले, राजा, लोग इस दुनिया के समुंदर में डूब रहे हैं। उनके लिए एक कश्ती बनाना पड़ेगा जो मजबूत हो। पूजा करो, दान करो, हवन करो, ध्यान करो। इससे वो कश्ती बनेगी। फिर उसे मुक्ति की कील से पकड़ लो। अपने मन को रोप की तरह ऊपर खींचो। यह कश्ती तुम्हे तीनो दुनिया से पार ले जाएगी।
