Parikramā
nānāpahāsarūpeṇa jitā gopyo dhanāni ca || gopair ānīya tāś caiva kṛṣṇāya ca niveditāḥ
Varāha (default attribution; speaker not explicit in excerpt)
It illustrates how Purāṇic chapters may interweave narrative episodes (here, Kṛṣṇa-centered material) alongside later tīrtha-oriented framing, reflecting layered compilation and transmission.
No explicit toponym appears in this verse; the geographic focus emerges in subsequent verses describing Yamunā waters and named tīrthas.
The verse itself is descriptive rather than prescriptive; ethical evaluation is not explicitly formulated in the line as transmitted here.
