मौनव्रतधरो गच्छेद्यावद्दक्षिणकोटिके ॥ प्राप्य स्नात्वा पितॄंस्तर्प्य दृष्ट्वा देवं प्रणम्य च ॥
maunavratadharo gacched yāvad dakṣiṇakoṭike || prāpya snātvā pitṝṃs tarpya dṛṣṭvā devaṃ praṇamya ca ||
मौन व्रत रख के चलो। जब तक दक्षिण कोटि न पहुँच जाओ तब तक चलते रहो। वहाँ जाके नहा लो। पितरों को तर्पण करो। भगवान का दर्शन करके प्रणाम करो।
