The Manifestation and Sanctifying Power of the Mathurā Tīrtha
kṛtvā pradakṣiṇaṁ devi viśrāmaṁ kurute tu yaḥ || nārāyaṇasamīpe tu so'nantaphalam aśnute
Varāha
It reflects embodied pilgrimage practices (circumambulation, resting near a shrine), offering evidence for lived ritual patterns around sacred centers.
The verse implies a Nārāyaṇa-centered sacred locus (likely a shrine/temple setting within Mathurā-kṣetra), without naming a specific modern site.
Undertake disciplined, respectful movement in sacred space—ritual action paired with composure and reverent proximity.
