The Sacred Merit of Goniṣkramaṇa
the Tīrtha of the Cows’ Emergence/Release
karoti śubhakarmāṇi śīghraṃ mucyeta kilbiṣāt || evaṃ tena mahābhāge īśvareṇa yaśasvini ||
Varāha (default dialogue framework)
It reflects a normative Purāṇic ethic: sacred places are framed as environments that encourage socially valued conduct and moral self-cultivation.
The statement continues the Gosthalaka/kṣetra context; no new location is introduced in this verse.
Performing beneficial actions (śubhakarma) is presented as the practical means toward release from moral fault (kilbiṣa).
