तच्च वै भस्मसाद्भूतं महारुद्रस्य तेजसा॥ दग्ध्वा तं चाश्रमं पुण्यमौरवस्य सुमहत्प्रियम्॥
tac ca vai bhasmasādbhūtaṃ mahārudrasya tejasā || dagdhvā taṃ cāśramaṃ puṇyam auravasya sumahatpriyam ||
महारुद्र की चमक से वो पूरा जगह राख बन गई। उन्होंने उस आश्रम को आग लगा दी जो और्व को बहुत प्यारा था।
