एवं वरं याचितोऽस्मि मुनिना भीमकर्मणा ।। पुत्रकामेन विप्रेण दीर्घकालं तपस्यता ।।
evaṃ varaṃ yācito’smi muninā bhīmakarmaṇā || putrakāmena vipreṇa dīrghakālaṃ tapasyatā ||
उस रिशि ने मुझसे यह वरदान माँगा। वो बेटा चाहते थे, इसलिए बहुत लंबे तकत तक किया। वो बड़े पंडित थे और उनकी तपस्या बड़ी भारी थी।
