FAQs

It preserves an alternate/earlier toponym (Yakṣatīrtha) and connects sacred bathing with merit and cosmological reward, reflecting Purāṇic tīrtha ideology.

Yakṣatīrtha is named as the earlier designation of the same sacred spot; the fragment does not supply a modern identification.

Purification is framed as a result of disciplined engagement with a heritage landscape (ritual bathing at a tīrtha).
