Exposition of the Glory of the Mandāra Sacred Grove
tatrātha muñcate prāṇān mama karma-parāyaṇaḥ || sarva-saṅgaṃ parityajya mama lokaṃ sa gacchati
Varāha
It reflects the Purāṇic synthesis of ritual observance (karma) and inner detachment (saṅga-tyāga) as complementary paths within pilgrimage narratives.
The implied setting is Mandāra (from the surrounding passage), presented as a sacralized site where liberation-themed narratives are situated.
Practice disciplined observance while relinquishing attachment—an ethic of responsibility without clinging.
