Exposition of the Glory of the Mandāra Sacred Grove
tatra tiṣṭhāmi suśroṇi vindhyasya girimūrdhani || mandāre paramaṃ guhyaṃ tasmin guhyśilocchaye
Varāha
It exemplifies how Purāṇic texts sacralize mountains by associating them with divine presence, contributing to the cultural geography of regions linked with the Vindhya range.
Vindhya is explicitly named; Mandāra is presented as a mountain/locale associated with it in this narrative frame, with a 'hidden rocky peak' as a specific micro-toponym.
Implicitly, the verse promotes reverent attention to sacred landscapes and their described boundaries, reinforcing careful, non-reductive engagement with heritage sites.
